This is by far my favorite time of the year!  It's time for, Charlie Brown, Assorted Shortbread Cookies from a round tin can, Pumpkin Spice Soy Steamer, and Cozy Sweaters, A Warm Hairdryer and all the Alfred Hitchcock I can possibly watch!

Have you see my Childhood?

Another year passes and the first day of fall is upon us.  If you've been following me for a while you already know this is my favorite time of the year!  It's time to watch,  "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown,"  It's time to eat assorted shortbread cookies from a round tin can, and drink pumpkin spice soy steamer, and time to go through old childhood photos.

From the bottom:  Me for Halloween as Raggedy Ann, Picture of me with short hair was the day after my cousin and I played "Hairdresser" and he chopped it all off!  Left is me with a weird santa.  All the way to the right is me as a Flower Girl at my auntie's wedding.   Left of that is me holding my little sister in the snow wearing my new roller skates and faux fur jacket on christmas day.  Left of that a family portrait with me and my Michael Jackson T-shirt.  Far left is an old photo of my grams (wasn't she hot!)  To the right is me in a play with (I think) yarn on my head as a wig.  All the way to the right is me for Halloween again dressed as a punk rocker (LOL)

First of all I didn't expect this to be such a hard decision, there were a ton of great names that I would actually use.  It's also hard because I'm a very generous person and I would love to give everyone something.  But without further delay...


New Name for my Necklace is The Callisto.  Which perfectly coincides with The Europa Necklace.  Screen name:  Margie Oomen

WO-Men At Work

It's always strange doing a "first post" I feel all new, like I've never done this. As you may know my website/blog is taking forever so I decided to start my new home here. By your requests I will be posting a little bit of everything. A little insight to what my day to day consists of.

Now with that being said,  I decided to spend my "Labor" Day Weekend Laboring. That's right I pay myself overtime.  The good thing about working for myself is I can take a break for as long as I want!  I decided to take a break and catch up on my reading.  I recently found this amazing College Bazaar Magazine from 1940!  Will you just look at that cover!  Some of the articles are so outdated and just ridiculous but I get a kick out of reading it.  It's hard to imagine that type of life, and just think if I were born just a couple of decades earlier it would have could have been me.  I'm really grateful to be what I'm doing.
